Each volunteer plays a vital role in creating a culture of safe discipleship. Whether you serve in Radiant Kids, Radiant Students, Connections, Radiant Groups, Soul Care or Worship/Production, we are all called to carry this responsibility together. EQUIP: Work for Christ is a volunteer equipping morning for all volunteers at Radiant.

God has entrusted us with children and given us a sacred responsibility: to disciple them and to protect them. These aren’t separate callings. They’re inseparable. We cannot faithfully disciple the children in our care without ensuring they are safe in the spaces where that discipleship happens.

Our leadership has always prioritized child safety and now we’re elevating that commitment even further. On February 7, we’ll share the “why” behind these efforts, celebrate how we’re all in this together and equip you with practical tools for the ministry areas where you serve. As we seek to point all people to a passionate pursuit of the radiant God, protecting the most vulnerable among us is a non-negotiable priority.

Child care will be provided for those who need it. Please RSVP by January 30.

The schedule for the morning:

8:30AM – Breakfast to connect and enjoy fellowship together
9AM – Main session: Pastor Nate will share encouragement and the heart behind our newly elevated child safety efforts
10:05AM – First ministry-specific breakout
10:40AM – Second ministry-specific breakout (for those serving in multiple areas)
