Have you ever had someone show up to your small group with a problem that seemed too big to handle? Maybe you thought, “I need help!” You aren’t alone. As a leader, you will face struggles in your small group. Good news! God’s Word is sufficient for all of our struggles.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16–17
Although Scripture is always helpful, sometimes a person’s struggle requires greater care than a small group can provide. In those instances, our Soul Care ministry is ready to partner with you. We use a tool, the SOS, to help you discern the level of care needed for a specific struggle. Can the struggle your small group member is dealing with be handled within the small group or is additional help required? This is the question we hope the SOS will help you answer.
